Puni Bounce Animation

Description

32 Frames of animation. Completed in Photoshop CS5.

This is practice not only for my sprite/pixel art, but animation as well.

All constructive criticism is VERY welcome! I'm having a hard time getting the animation timing down, in that I have it how I want it in Photoshop, but then when I save it as a .gif the timing is substantially slower. I'm not sure how to correct this, so any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hope you all enjoy! :D

Hello girl! ^_^ Sorry its taken me so long to review this! >< But yeah! Wow! Once again I'm impressed with these animation projects that you're working on! I think each one gets better and better in terms of movement and just having this "animated" (for lack of a better word) life to them! This one certainly seems lively and animated with the fun expression of the character, from the shifting of the various eye movements, showcasing the altering facial features, to the screaming mouth when it goes splat! :XD: I like the way it stretches when it falls, as if being affected by the gravity and the little splatter pellets seem to drive the impact home! Ouch! >< You mentioned on the phone that you had that "fall to hell" concept on your mind when crafting this. It certainly seems that way with the brief red in the eyes, as if it, and wem the audience, can see where its headed; reflected in those eyes! Seriously though, its simple yet effective and again, I think you should feel proud to be experimenting in such new and exciting ways, both with your art and with what you're learning in terms of animated techniques! Great job! :)
